Questions for Rev. Falwell

I don’t understand, Mr. Falwell. You believe that the prophet Mohammed was a
terrorist, but you maintain that the US was attacked due to the legality of abortions,
the acceptance by most (not by you, nor your wild and crazy followers of course)
of gays and lesbians, and the persistency of feminism.

Now, we all know that Muslim extremists prefer to have several wives and dozens of children (preferably male). This means they DO NOT support the feminist movement, and they could not possibly condone abortion. As far as homosexuality is concerned, they might be the only ones more bigoted than you.

So, tell me again, why did we get attacked by a band of backward-thinking, misogynistic, homophobic religious fanatics on Sept. 11, 2001?  Could it be that they are using political
grievances, such as the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, and America’s
never ending tendency to prop up autocratic regimes in the Middle East, in order to further their twisted social agenda?

I don’t see why you are so upset with these Islamic extremists, and why you refer to
Islam’s founding prophet as a terrorist.  If the tables were turned, and your ample ass was parked on a cold rock in a dank cave, you would be plotting to strike at the infidels as well- you know, the ones who promote individual liberties, tolerance, and the right to free speech.  So, in that dark little mind of yours, it is America’s loose morals that have brought the wrath of God
upon us- in the form of mass murder committed by psychopaths supposedly acting in His name.

I know that there is room for only one gatekeeper at the entrance to heaven, and your
concern with Islamic extremism, actually, with Islam in general stems from the fact that it is a direct competitor.  The fanatical Christian fringe is basically the flip side of the
same, centuries old, worthless, fundamentalist coin.

In fact, you are playing the part of an extremist right now.  You recently claimed that a run for the presidency by the Devil wouldn’t energize your base the way the candidacy of Hillary Clinton would.  In the black and white world in which you dwell, this can only mean that God, your God of course, is on the side of the Republicans in our two party, good vs. evil system.

Riddle me this, fat man: why is it that so many more people in America live in poverty,
are without healthcare, and have to work longer hours away from their families since
the party of God swept into the White House?  Why have tens of thousands died in a poorly planned and incompetently executed war of choice in Iraq?  Why are we mortgaging the financial future of our nation in order to line the pockets of those who deserve it the least?

I must ask: who is your God, Reverend Falwell?
