2.3.09- Tax-challenged former Democratic Senate leader Tom Daschle withdrew his name from consideration as Obama’s choice to head the Department of Health and Human Services. Thank the Lord’s bartender! But don’t worry about poor Tommy D. – he’s got his mega-million dollar quasi-lobbying gigs to help pay the bills.
