Madoff Goes to Jail

3.12.09- Disgraced, but dapper financier Bernard L. Madoff was handcuffed and sent to jail today after pleading guilty to running the biggest Ponzi scheme in human history. The 11 counts of fraud, money laundering, perjury and theft that Bernie pleaded guilty to carry maximum terms totaling 150 years. (My God! he’ll be 220 years old when he gets out.)
